“How Old Am I In Dog Years” with author Susan Goldfein.
How Old Am I In Dog Years? is a joyous, snark-filled, and completely relatable collection of essays that skewer the foibles of ordinary events. With topics ranging from marital bliss to wearing stiletto heels at an age when one should know better, Susan blends just the right amount of the absurd into her daily life to keep her readers laughing – and thinking.

TTN MEMBERS HELP FAMILIES IN NEED - HOLIDAY VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE EVENT
A good time was had by all, as members participated in a gift purchasing and wrapping drive organized by the St. Vincent de Paul Society for needy families in the NYC area. On December 6 at Carole Pugliese's home, a group of TTN members brought their assigned gifts to wrap. Our members' generosity - of both time and money - was acknowledged by St. Ignatius Loyola Church which facilitated the drive. Many thanks to Laura Ivan who initiated the idea with the Volunteer Program Committee and handled the details. See Nancy Ribeck's wonderful photos of the event.

TTN CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AND RAISES FUNDS FOR HOMELESS WOMEN
TTN's Volunteer Committee hosted a fundraising dinner on March 8th to celebrate International Women’s Day, a UN holiday celebrated around the world.
Members "dined in" at Kate Sheahan’s home, enjoying the delicious food and wine they brought. In the spirit of the holiday, participants generously donated the cost of “dining out” to Susan’s Place, a transitional residence for homeless women.
Twenty TTNers enjoyed an evening of fun, friendship and good cheer. More than $500 was raised for Care for the Homeless, the nonprofit that operates Susan’s Place. Development Director Dawne Bell was on hand to personally thank members for their generosity and to provide information about innovative programs at Susan’s Place including an on-site medical and dental clinic and social services.
