Mindfulness: The answer to all your problems!

Mindfulness is a hot topic in the news today, but it has been evolving for 2,500 years.
Advances in research now document what practitioners of Mindfulness discover for themselves:

When we learn to pay attention, with kindness, our lives improve.

While Mindfulness does not make problems disappear, it changes our ability to cope with life's big and small stressors.

It can also strengthen our immune systems, increase grey matter in our brains, and slow down a number of chronic conditions.
Noted proponent and practitioner, Lucia McBee, will tell us about Mindfulness and how we can cultivate it. She will lead us through several Mindful experiences, and show us how to practice Mindfulness, even in the midst of our busy lives!

Lucia will also show us how relevant Mindfulness can be in the caregiving situations which so many of us deal with.

Lucia McBee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Public Health. She is a noted speaker, guest on prominent TV and Radio programs, and author of many books and articles on the subject.
