COVID-19 - Update from The Transition Network
Since TTN is a membership organization, YOU are our top priority in this time of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, commonly known as the coronavirus.  We want to encourage you to use TTN as a resource in this stressful time. It’s important to stay in touch -- virtually if not physically -- with your TTN friends, because connection is the foundation of who we are.

Your local Chapter leaders will advise you if there are any changes in events and group meetings for your Chapter due to the COVID-19 virus.  In the meantime, here are some resources and guidelines for TTN members regarding the virus.

2020. A year of reflection. A year of celebration. A year of moving forward
It's difficult to overstate the importance of 2020 to The Transition Network. Twenty years ago, Charlotte and Christine began bringing women together to talk about the coming transition from an active, fully engaged life to whatever was ahead. They had no role models, no way of knowing the possibilities. But they knew if women started talking to each other, they would figure it out.

As we embark on this year of anniversary celebrations, remember that TTN has been built, and continues to exist because we've learned the importance of being connected. We're learning what kind of life we want to build for ourselves and the impact we want to have on our communities. We rely on each other for conversation, support and yes, fun, and there's a whole new generation of women who are looking for the same answers.

It's our hope that TTN will continue for another 20 years. Just think of all the women who will be as grateful as we are that it exists.

My best wishes to you all for a healthy, productive and exciting 2020!

~ Susan

Looking Forward in 2018

Having now completed my first term as President of the Board of Directors, I am reflecting back on the past two years that encompassed so much change in our world.

As a country, we saw the wave of women speaking out through marches throughout  the country. We heard the voices of those who came out to say “Me Too”, and now many more women are running for election across the spectrum of local and national political offices.

What a time to be a woman who is part of an organization that “Embraces Change!”

Board News
We are very fortunate to have so many talented and dedicated women who serve on our Board of Directors.  This year we bid adieu to Barbara Beizer, Jean Palmer and Barbara Schreibman whose board terms ended on December 31.  They gave their time and expertise to develop Signature Programs, leadership training workshops and creative marketing strategies in an effort to help TTN become a stronger organization.  We heartily thank them for their service and look forward to their continuing involvement as members of TTN.

TTN's New "Breaking Free" Group for National Members
Women are attracted to TTN from all over the country - not just in the cities and towns where we have chapters.  These members are our "National" members and they are also seeking community and support as they navigate their own transitions.
