TTN Announces Formalization of Core Values
February 20, 2014The Committee interviewed several early TTN leaders, considered existing practices, and set a context of our mission and vision to become the premier organization for women 50+ in transition. They then engaged the Board of Directors in an exercise to develop key value concepts. These concepts were then formulated into a set of value statements which have been reviewed and revised after several rounds of feedback from the Committee, the Board, and the Chapter Leaders, who strongly supported the work.
The core values below express the guiding principles that represent TTN's highest priorities and most deeply held beliefs. They provide a framework to guide all of us as we make decisions and act on behalf of and in service to TTN, our members, and the larger community. They are an expression of our aspirations - how we want to behave, who we are and who we want to be going forward.
They are what connects us as one organization, pursuing one mission, together.
We want to hear from you! In your experience, how do you see these values driving your actions, your decisions as a member of TTN or on behalf of your chapter or group? How do they live in your Chapter? Send your stories to firstname.lastname@example.org.
