Karen Mortka is the founder and president of WELL-Connected which provides group and one-on-one health coaching, both in person and virtually, to help individuals lose weight and improve their overall health. As a Nurse Practitioner, Karen takes a scientific based approach to not only help individuals to lose weight but also to improve their overall metabolic health. Over the last 30 years, Karen has successful helped those with health problems chronic illnesses, like diabetes and cardiovascular disease, to improve their health numbers and in many cases, to reduce or eliminate their medications. Karen earned a MS in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a BSN (Nursing) from LaSalle University, also in Philadelphia.
