Philadelphia Chapter Pop Up Event: Holistic & Alternative Health CareThursday, July 9, 2020

Penn’s Village has organized an exciting panel of local experts who will give an overview of different types of holistic health care covering acupuncture, Oriental medicine, and macrobiotic diet. Each section will have a 25 minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers. There will be a 10-15 minute break between the second and third panelist presentations.
Adam Schreiber, an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, has a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is licensed by the PA Board of Medicine, nationally certified in Oriental Medicine, and was Chief Editor of Sports Medicine Acupuncture.
Olivia Walling is a practicing Buddhist and former monastic who continues to practice under the guidance of a Zen master as she has for the past 10 years. She will launch the panel by discussing the role of mind in bodily experience.
Denny Waxman is a macrobiotic counselor and author of The Ultimate Guide to Eating for Longevity. He and Susan Waxman are directors of the 501c3, The Strengthening Health Institute. He will present the rationale for and content of a macrobiotic diet.
