Parenting Adult Children in the Pandemic

An Invitation from the TTN Chicago Chapter

The saying, “Once a parent, always a parent” is relevant during our pandemic, as
many TTN members struggle with keeping their anxiety at bay when
communicating with adult children. TTN members find that the worries and
concerns they’ve always had for their children are magnified and more intense
during this time.

Join us as Cara Pollard, PCI Certified Parent Coach, shares ways parents can
address their own fears while still supporting their adult children. She’ll help
members learn how to let go of the situations that are beyond their control.
Together we will explore some instances of adult children now worrying about their parents’ risk of exposure.

Cara offers coaching services to families, couples, women and teens. She transforms lives by drawing upon her in-depth background in her legal and academic experience. She is a lifelong learner and is highly trained in a variety of
disciplines. Cara creates the scaffolding individuals need to meet the demands and complexities of our modern world. Learn more about Cara here
