For July’s TTN Zoom Author Webinar, Lynda Cohen Loigman, USA Today bestselling author of The Two-Family House, will discuss her latest novel, The Wartime Sisters. The novel takes place in the Springfield Armory in Massachusetts. The novel centers around two estranged sisters who were raised in Brooklyn and reunited at the Armory in the early days of World War II.
During the webinar, Lynda will discuss not only her personal inspiration for the story, but also the research she engaged in to write the book. By sharing dozens of photographs from the Springfield Armory archives, Lynda will give us a fascinating look into what life was like for the many women who worked and lived at the Springfield Armory to support the country’s wartime efforts.
Lynda Cohen Loigman grew up in Longmeadow, MA. She received a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. Her debut novel, The Two-Family House, was a USA Today bestseller and a nominee for the Goodreads 2016 Choice Awards in Historical Fiction. Her second novel, The Wartime Sisters, was selected as a Woman's World Book Club pick and a Best Book of 2019 by Real Simple magazine. She is currently at work on her third novel.
