Cultivate Peace and Joy at TTN Chicago’s Mindfulness and Holiday Potluck!
We all want peace and joy in our lives, but the holidays can make that challenging with increased stress and mixed emotions. What we seek can only be found inside us and through the present moment!
Join us as fellow TTN Member Jaci McCarty, a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher and coach for a dozen years, teaches us techniques for cultivating these qualities. Once learned, you will be able to apply them to your work and home life, and certainly to a more joyous and peace filled holiday season.
Jaci will lead us through breathing, relaxation and mindfulness practices that connect us inward and shift how we feel. There will be a guided meditation with instruction on how to practice. If you’ve never meditated before or if you’re an experienced practitioner, you’ll leave feeing more empowered, centered and calm.
Following Jaci’s session, we’ll share in some pre-holiday treats. Please bring a main or side dish you can share with others.
Once you have registered, in early November we’ll send you a Potluck Evite that will allow you to sign up for the item you would like to bring. (A microwave and refrigerator are available.)

Jacqueline McCarty is the owner of Om at Work and Living Yoga. She is a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher through the McLean Meditation Institute as well as a Certified Yoga Instructor through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago and advanced training through Prairie Yoga in Lisle, IL. Jacqueline also has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.
Jacqueline has over 12 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation in a variety of settings, including corporate, studio and private clients and has earned the experience required to effectively teach the tools of meditation and yoga to students at any level. With proper instruction students will experience the many benefits of this practice including managing stress, improve focus and awareness, and living a more creative and peaceful life at work and at home.
Jaci’s intention is to create a happier, more peaceful workplace and life through the practices of meditation, mindfulness and through stress management techniques.
