The Connection Cure & Pizza Party!
This workshop is designed to create conversation around the body and spirit, and to de-stigmatize loneliness in our increasingly disconnected society. It is an invitation to put down the phone, turn off the devices, and step back into humanity, alive, awake, and connected. We are all wired to connect, and lucky for us, it's proven to heal not only our souls, but our cells.
Join us in this Workshop and Pizza Party (and salad!) that is part learning, part storytelling, part experiential. We will discuss the science behind connection, share our personal experiences, and practice proven ways to build community through connection exercises.
Lisa Daron Grossman is a native New Yorker and is currently living on the road full-time as part of her cross-country human engagement journey, The Connection Cure. She is a certified Professional Coach and a practitioner of Positive Psychology. She holds a certificate in Mind-Body Medicine and is currently training in Compassion Cultivation through the Center for Compassion and Altruism at Stanford University.
Prior to coaching, Lisa worked with storytelling for over ten years, as a documentary filmmaker, a copywriter for the Smithsonian channel, a New York City tour guide, and a professional team builder. She has been asked to speak at workshops and wellness seminars across the country and was selected to speak at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and at a storytelling contest at the 2016 John F. Kennedy Service Awards.
