Women in Transition Workshop
Wondering what’s next for you?
After 50 or 60, you may begin to experience shifts in your motivation, identity, values and energy. You might feel lost, and wonder how others navigate these changes. In this highly interactive half-day workshop, we’ll explore in depth what it really means to be in transition as you experience the often choppy waters of change and set a course for your desired future.
You’ll meet other women in transition, share stories, and learn with and from each other about possibilities and challenges in a series of safe and supportive structured conversations and exercises. You’ll take away tools that will make you smarter about creating the next chapter of the life you want.
1. Understand the transition experience
2. Explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in transition
3. Gain a deeper appreciation of what drives your choices and actions
4. Take away your personal next steps to guide your journey
This Workshop is facilitated by long time TTN members, Barbara Beizer and Peggy Conner. Barbara developed this workshop especially for TTN, and has delivered it to hundreds of women in most of our TTN chapters and professional conferences, including the American Society on Aging and the Positive Aging Conference.
Iona House is located one block from the Tenleytown Metro Stop on the Red Line. Parking is available.
