August Meeting Announcement

On August 20, Chef Del Sroufe will share dinner and conversation with us.  Chef Del is with the Wellness Forum, a national organization based here in central Ohio offering educational programs to both consumers and providers to facilitate diet and lifestyle intervention, improved long-term health outcomes and informed medical decision-making,.  The dinner will be plant-based and the conversation will provide insights into using diet and lifestyle changes to improve health.

Chef Del’s passion for cooking began at eight years old and never faded. Sroufe opened Del’s Bread, a vegan bakery, before beginning a vegan meal delivery service in 2001, serving eclectic plant-based cuisine to Columbus, Ohio residents in 2006.   He is the author of four cookbooks: The China Study Quick and Easy CookbookBetter Than Vegan, the bestselling Forks Over Knives—The Cookbook, and his newest one – The China Study Family Cookbook.
