Talk Cinema, Inc., co-founded in 1992 by Harlan and Susan Jacobson, is the nation’s longest running sneak preview and discussion program.  The attendees get to be among the first to see a yet-to-be-released movie and then discuss it with special guests – seeing a film the way critics and industry insiders do at film festivals.
Talk Cinema offers curated films selected by film critic Harlan Jacobson – the film might be an indie comedy, a provocative documentary, a foreign language Oscar-nominee or the next breakout hit.  Screenings are introduced and followed by moderated conversations hosted by a distinguished guest speaker or film critic.

Past films have included everything from The Crying Game and Pulp Fiction to Fargo,  Being John Malkovich, The Girls With The Pearl Earring and The Dragon Tattoo, Slumdog Millionaire, Borat, Kite Runner, Secrets & Lies, Wag the Dog, LA Confidential, Cider House Rules, Erin Brockovich, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Billy Elliott, Silver Linings Playbook, Nebraska, and from this past season Eye in the Sky, The Lady in the Van, 45 Years, Viva, Embrace of the Serpent, Dheepan and Don’t Think Twice. The list goes on forever.

Talk Cinema screenings are "blind," as the title is not divulged until audience members enter the theater.
