Laughter is the Best Medicine! 

Laughter is contagious and has a powerful and immediate effect on our mind, body, and spirit.  

This interactive Laughter Yoga workshop will demonstrate that you do not need humor or comedy to laugh.  Thankfully, the body receives the same physical and emotional benefits from simulated and real laughter.  Together, we will use laughter as exercise combined with yoga breathing.  Playful movements along with eye contact may turn simulated laughter into real laughter.

·         Stretch and help relax tight muscles

Come ready to move and laugh (all exercises can be adapted to various physical abilities).  We will laugh, clap, move, and breathe.  All exercises will be done standing or sitting.  No prior yoga experience required and no yoga mats needed.  Wear regular clothes as long as you can move and breathe easily.  We will end with a meditation to center ourselves after the laughter.
