Making a Difference: Susan Axler, A TTN Member With A Passion For the Cure

Dealing with Loss in a Peer Group
At the Peer Group (PG) Liaison meeting in November 2016, our PG Liaisons and the PG Advisory Committee (picture to the right) tackled the subject of loss experienced within a peer group.  The discussion was facilitated by Carolyn Walter, a member of our PG Advisory Committee and a noted expert in the field of loss, transition and transformation.  Carolyn stressed the importance of and need for grieving as a natural response to loss. The PG liasons embraced the topic and came back with new insights on how to handle the loss experience.   Read more...

TTN Visits the Shoe Museum

TTN members made three visits to the Shoe Museum on January 11th, 13th and the 20th. The museum is housed in part of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. The visits are limited to ten people so we had to offer three sessions to get all the interested members in.
