Welcome to the NEW YORK CITY Chapter
We are women “50 and forward” who are actively exploring the many new challenges, interests, and opportunities available to us. TTN is a national organization and New York, the flagship chapter, is over 700 members strong.
Even during these difficult times, TTN women are developing imaginative ways to be together and support each other virtually. We moved our cultural tours, informational and author events, workshops, peer groups and mingles to a virtual online experience that still keeps us together and supporting each other.

How can Muslims and Jews make peace with each other?
Come learn from two co-authors on their life journeys towards friendship and peace.
Join Sabeeha Rehman and Walter Ruby as they discuss their new book "We Refuse to be Enemies. How Muslims and Jews Can Make Peace, One Friendship at a Time". In this book they share their overlapping life journeys: of a Muslim-American woman of Pakistani origin and a Jewish-American man who spent formative years in Israel. This is the story of how they connected and embarked on a mission to bring their communities together.

Looks like we’ll still be pretty much holed up for a while though, even if we’re lucky enough to have snagged appointments for the Covid vaccine. Happily, we can continue to participate in the myriad wonderful Zoom possibilities offered by TTN.

2020 threw us some curves and BIG challenges, but we hope you agree that your TTN chapter has weathered them just fine.
We’ve increased our programming, albeit virtual, and been able to meet and get to know members from the other chapters. We’ve kept our TPG’s, SIG’s and CC groups going as well as making sure our members get the support they needed during this global crisis. We added Inward Bound to keep us all
amused, and even welcomed some new members.Read the full article
