Support TTN

transition peer groups

An Invitation to Join a TTN Signature Program:
We now offer 2 Chicago Transition Peer Groups!  1 in Lincoln Park, 1 in Streeterville

TTN Signature Programs© offer unique opportunities to rethink your life or work, and engage in deeper personal reflection and learning. The Chicago Chapter now offers 2 Transition Peer Group led by a trained facilitator who is also a TTN Member. These groups are open to TTN chapter members only. Transition Peer Groups are a great way to:
  • Meet smart, diverse women with similar interests in a small group setting (10-12 women)
  • Share and learn from one another while you discuss career and/or personal transitions (work, family, friends, health, etc.) in a safe and confidential setting
  • Connect with other women and make new friends
  • STREETERVILLE GROUP will meet on the 2nd Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. - We'll continue through the summer, dates are July 10, August 14 and September 11.

  • LINCOLN PARK GROUP will meet on the 3rd Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. - April 16, May 21, June 18 -- This group will be on hiatus for the Summer!

  • All  Transition Peer Groups meet at a member's home. Information will be shared once you are registered for a group. We need at least 6 members to start a Group and try to limit each group to10 members.  If you wish to be a part of a Transiton Peer Group email Mary Lee Gosz  and Kimberly Mulcahy. We'll add you to a wait list until we have enough members for another group!

Please sign up only IF you can attend all 3 of the meetings for session. Since we could be "oversubcribed", it doesn't seem fair to reserve a spot if you can't attend the full session.  We hope those who can will sign up! We would love to create a third Group by the summer!

Transition Peer Groups are designed to be a small group of TTN members that, once formed, stays together for some months, discussing various topics related to transitions. For the sake of small group dynamics and our monthly discussions, we want participants to attend regularly.  This is a little different from the social events and Special Interest Groups’ events also hosted by TTN.

To join or learn more, email Mary Lee Gosz  and Kimberly Mulcahy

Please note:  While peer groups are meant to create a supportive environment, they are neither support nor therapy groups and cannot substitute for professional help when a member may confront a personal life crisis and needs special assistance.
