In Case You Missed It . . .!

By Sally Dougan, 15-year TTN member

Let’s Go To The Movies! October 3rd.

The second film in this terrific three-session private screening series featured the British film “Secrets and Lies”.  The excellent movie was followed by a fascinating discussion facilitated by the renowned NYU Film Professor Dr Harry Chotiner.  Hope you did not miss the final in the series – November 2!

TTN-NYC FESTIVAL 2.0  October 7th.

If you missed the most festive FESTIVAL in TTN’s history, you really missed a tremendously grand event!!! Two hundred-plus TTNers attended this joyous three-hour open house. There was ample wine, delicious catered food, home-baked dessert goodies from TTN master bakers, and lots of good cheer for all.
All of TTN-NYC’s opportunities that welcome additional participation were represented. Other major features were a Silent Auction of art and services donated by TTN Members, and make-up sessions by TTN’s favorite expert, Richard Grandinetti of Trish McEvoy. Chico’s, a Festival sponsor, outfitted several TTNers who were happy to model and display their great fashions! We were all offered generous Chico’s discounts and other goodies and discounts from Festival sponsors and supporters in the Gift Bags provided to all!
This was “A TTN Event to Remember!”

Body Appreciation Talking Circle. October 17th.

This Life Transition Services event was a facilitated exploration of the very personal attitudes we have towards our bodies. Participants worked together to create awareness of the many things – some surprising – that we appreciate about our bodies as a way of offsetting the critical self-talk that we may not even be aware of.  The sharing and support of feelings and experiences led to another satisfying and successful LTS Talking Circle.

Member Mingle! October 23rd.

So sorry if you missed this! Yet another of TTN’s fab Member Mingles, this time at Vinus & Marc at 2nd Avenue and 95th Street. A very merry collection of TTN members and numerous guests gathered to share good cheer, great food and drinks of all kinds. A totally unscripted mix of old friends, new ones and very relaxed socializing for all.
