NJWIT Attends Newark Museum's Annual Tea

May 19, 2015

As guests of Gwynne McConkey, Allyson Powers-Johnson, Marilyn Shuffler, Lanie Gastman, Joan Prince, Carla Loffredo, Dale Swisher and Judy Glick enjoyed a sparkling Wine Reception and an inspiring presentation by featured speaker Amy Herman on “The Art of Perception, Rethinking How We See” An art historian, lawyer and educator, Ms. Herman is president of The Art of Perception and her diverse clients include the FBI, the Secret Service and NYU Medical School.
After the delicious lunch, we enjoyed the exhibition of Moroccan-born, UK-based artist Hassan Hajjaj, showcasing Hajjaj’s personal "rock stars" -- an eclectic group of nine musicians from around the world who inspire the artist.
While none of us won any raffle prizes, it was wonderful to catch up and share the experience with our TTN friends!
