NJ Chapter Visits Montclair Art Museum
November 3, 2013
Highlights included an exhibition of the work of acclaimed installation artist Jean Shin, whose pieces were commissioned for the show and were made from spoons, forks and knives donated by Montclair area residents.
Our tour included stops, among others, at the beautiful, wood-paneled gallery of painter George Inness and the 4,000-object Native American collection. The excursion ended in a sunlit rotunda devoted to bronze and marble sculpture.
We topped off the outing at a cafe in Montclair, making new friends and catching up with familiar faces. And it was great to have TTN members from New York, as well as guests, join us during our lovely day.Don’t forget our Holiday Cocktail Party on December 8 in Montclair. We hope to see you there!
