Women in Transition Workshop
– Life Transition Services – March 2

One of TTN’s Signature programs, the Women in Transition Workshop was held again on March 2. The program was designed by TTN for women exploring new possibilities, or anticipating or experiencing changes in life or work.  Led by a professional facilitator, this workshop provided a great foundation for developing future pathways.

Radio City Music Hall Tour – Explore NYC Event – March 11

Wow. Talk about a special New York City event! The women who were lucky enough to get in on this tour were dazzled by one feature after another of this legendary entertainment palace -- from the Grand Foyer, to the massive auditorium and stage, to the beautiful Roxy Suite and Lounges and beyond. A special backstage tour – and a visit with a Rockette – topped off this memorable Explore NYC offering.

People & Passions – March 14

What a treat to have the semi-annual Signature TTN-NYC program back again!
Great for both new and longer-term Members, the opportunity to meet others who might share interests and enthusiasms was not lost on the TTNers and Guests who turned out to explore and participate in the many themes and possibilities. New Special Interest Groups were formed and new Transition Peer Groups established. All in the atmosphere of joy and camaraderie which characterize the P&P experience. Don’t miss the next P&P in the Autumn!

Private Tour of Town Hall – Explore NYC Event – March 22

Who knew that Town Hall was built in 1921, by suffragists seeking to educate the public about women’s right to vote? Or that it was filled with eager audiences learning that they had a right to plan their family’s size? Or that Margaret Sanger was arrested on this stage? Or that this landmark lecture and entertainment hall was constructed with such perfect acoustics that electronic amplification was unnecessary?  These are only a few among many interesting tidbits and mysteries shared with TTNers by our Town Hall Trustee Guide. A fascinating tour!
