20th Anniversary Celebration Kickoff
Carol Oswald & Christine Millen: A Conversation
To kick off our 20th Anniversary Celebration, we heard from Christine Millen, co-founder of TTN, about how she envisioned an organization that would connect women 50 and forward and Carol Oswald, TTN’s current Board president who shared our vision for the future.
Catherine Collinson: Chapter 3. What Will Yours Be?
Catherine Collinson, CEO & President of nonprofit Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies, shared her fascinating research findings about working women's expectations about retirement and the actual experiences of retired women. She explored life's possibilities, while offering insights and a few practical realities.
Day 2: October 15, 2020TTN Women of Impact
TTN women make an impact and during this morning's panel discussion, you'll learn there's more than one way to do just that! Jeanine Briefel, Long Island, Mary Klein, Philadelphia, Theresa Murray, Washington, DC, Betty Rauch, New York and Roni Buckley, Chicago (Moderator) are TTN members who have made an impact in their communities. We'll collaborate, share ideas, and resources to help each other engage, lead and advocate in our own backyards and beyond.
We've accumulated a lifetime of wisdom. And like no generation that has come before us, we have a chance to help change the world, yet again.
Joan Lunden: Journalist, Author, and Health, Wellness and Senior Advocate
What better way to launch TTN into its next 20 years than with the inspiration of Joan Lunden. We grew up with Joan. She's us! Joan's latest book Why Did I Come Into This Room? A Candid Conversaion about Aging, is her most candid, raw, and funny book to date. You'll want to listen again to Joan's take on aging with vigor and intention.
