Lerdahl: First String Quartet
Dvorak: String Quartet No. 14 in A Flat Major, Op. 105
Daedalus Quartet was praised by the New Yorker as a "fresh and vital young participant in what is a golden age of American string quartets." The Daedalus Quartet has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Library of Congress, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C. and Boston's Gardner Museum. Listeners and critics alike praise the security, technical finish, interpretive unity and sheer gusto of their performances. The award winning members of the Daedalus Quartet hold degrees from the Julliard School, Curtis Institute, Cleveland Institute and Harvard University.
Tri-County Concert is celebrating its 71st year of presenting fine solo and ensemble chamber music on the Main Line. It has always showcased brilliant young musicians who were on their way to distinguished professional careers.
