Experience a local slice of our city's history! A private docent led tour creates nostalgia for an earlier time. Remember those yellow straw subway seats? Our tour will provide an overview of the magnitude and complexity of NYC's rapid transit system through photographs, diagrams, cartoons and newspapers clippings. We will also board the Museum's vintage collection of subway and elevated trains and visit a working signal tower.
The museum is housed in a historic 1936 IND subway station in Brooklyn Heights. Very easy to get to on the 2,3,4, or 5 train to Borough Hall, the R to Court Street or the A,C, G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn. Faster than a crosstown bus ride.
All aboard!
