Do you like the Skin You’re In? Or are you considering changes?
Whatever your thoughts, you’ll find this short and absorbing documentary film provocative. A group of long-time women friends in their 40s, 50s and 60s face the realities of their changing faces, lines, wrinkles and reflect on the impact these physical changes have on their bodies, their attitudes about themselves and the way they feel they are perceived by friends, family and society at large.
These women aren’t New Yorkers, but live in perhaps the second most liberal- minded location – Berkeley, CA.
It’s an engaging, powerful, and uplifting film in which the women wrestle with deep issues including self-esteem, self-perceptions, resentment, face-lift considerations, and coming to terms with themselves ‘as-is’.
We’ll follow the presentation with small group discussions, where we can share our impressions, our own life experiences with these issues -- and compare notes on it all.
This is a charmer, and will be an engaging experience for TTNers and Guests.
