Connect From Your Couch - and While You’re on the Road This Summer

July 2012

Sign up for a member-only online tour of TTN

Whether you’ve been a member for many years or just a few months, you’ve experienced only a small part of TTN’s activities and history.  Now for the first time you can attend an orientation webinar that helps you get the most from your membership…logging in from the comfort of your home, no need to dress up.  I’m leading the webinars with Mary Klein, board member and founding co-chair of our Philadelphia chapter.

In our one-hour sessions, we’ll cover
  • Five “what’s in it for you” parts of the website
  • How to turn your “I’ve always wanted to….” idea into a program for your chapter or beyond
  • Life-enhancing activities nearby and around the country
  • How we grew from 12 women to 12 chapters by unleashing the power of our talented members
In our first session, participants said “I’m working fulltime, so this was a great format”  “I’m excited about connecting with women from other chapters” and “thanks for the website tour – I learned a lot.”

To register for one of our summer orientations, click on one of the links below. Note: you have to be logged in as a member to register.

July 17 (Tuesday), 3:30 PM ET

August 8 (Wednesday), 1:00 PM ET

September 11 (Tuesday), 1:00 PM ET

…and Connect While You’re on the Road This Summer

I know many of you will sign up for the webinars…but there’s nothing like meeting fellow members in person.  Keep TTN in mind as you travel this summer – check out the “committee” page of the chapter city you’re visiting and make a connection for lunch, a museum visit or a tip about local events.  Take advantage of one of TTN’s greatest benefits – the opportunity to connect with kindred spirits in the cities you love – and please send me a picture - like this:
