January 31, 2012
The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter is organizing a special art study program to Paris, in partnership with Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel). Our art historian will be Dr. Clark Poling, Professor Emeritus of Art History at Emory University. He taught for thirty-three years, serving as chair of the Art History Department. With the expert guidance of Dr. Poling, the program will explore the major museums to provide an exciting overview of art from Impressionism to recent art. The tour dates are October 27 to November 4, a total of 8 days and 9 nights. This program will be a wonderful opportunity for women in The Transition Network to meet
one another, become more familiar with modern art in Paris, and to explore the City of Lights together.Participants will stay at a charming 4-star small boutique hotel on the Left Bank.
