The Philadelphia Chapter encompasses the "Greater Delaware Valley", including center city Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania suburbs to the north, south and west; and Southern New Jersey to the east.

The Philadelphia Chapter was started in early 2008 and is a fast growing chapter which offers the following events and activities:

On February 22, 30 women arrived at Lorraine Gordon’s beautiful home in Haverford and participated in a full day's retreat focused on Deepening the Member Experience. We were so fortunate that so many women were willing to participate. For an organization to remain viable, it must welcome new ideas and thoughtful introspection. Like to write? Want to be a “published author”? Do you have a story to tell about making a difference in the lives of children?
If the answers are yes, or maybe, join a group of TTN members who are planning a book of stories/essays around the theme of making a difference in the lives of children. We hope that our readers will be inspired to try some specific ideas from the book and also to be reminded that there are many ways to help. We plan to use the book as a fundraiser for the TTN Giving Circle. The model is the PTA recipe book, but much more interesting.

Bounce-Back-Ability: Resilience and Successful Aging Launched in Philadelphia
A new TTN curriculum - Bounce-Back-Ability: Resilience and Successful Aging, was launched by the Philadelphia Chapter at a meeting of over 90 members on October 18. The program introduced the research, the benefits of resilience and the structure of the course which will start in November.

When Jean Brubaker bought her home on Cypress Street, she had no idea the important role it had played in the lives of 50 children living in Vienna in 1939, when Hitler was growing his influence in Europe.
