To become part of TTN-CC in New York City
The Caring Collaborative is now a benefit of membership in The Transition Network.
Therefore, you must first be a member of TTN to take advantage of this benefit. See instructions below for joining TTN.
There is also a required orientation on the scope and boundaries of exchanges among CC members that must be attended before participation in CC.
If you want to join, please send an email to the coordinator, Sulekha Prasad, info@ttncaringcollaborative.org, saying, "I want to join CC." Include your name, email address, and neighborhood. She will advise you of the next orientation session.
To opt in to National MIX
You can join National MIX whether or not you are in the Caring Collaborative.There is a required orientation webinar on the scope and boundaries of exchanges among National MIX members that must be attended before participation in National MIX.
If you are already in the CC, you must opt in separately, as an addition. You do not have to attend the orientation webinar.
Send an e-mail to NationalMIX@ttncaringcollaborative.org saying, “sign me up for the National MIX program.” Include your name, email address, local chapter, and home city. She’ll confirm and send you the orientation webinar schedule. After you attend the orientation, you can ask for information – and you’ll be included in the list of National MIX volunteers.
To sign up if you are new or renewing to TTN/CC

• Enter your Zip code and press OK
A page with membership options will appear.
• After you have read the information provided, scroll down to the bottom of the page and press “continue to Membership Process.”
• You can pay by credit card on the page that comes up, or you can scroll down to the bottom to choose to pay by mail.
