Chapters are where the action is – women meeting face to face to create their very own community.
Chapter members enjoy a “high-touch” experience right in their own backyard. Guided by local chapter leadership, they run their own programs, schedule outings and events and support their individual membership in accordance with the policies and guidelines issued by the national organization. Chapters have their own peer and special interest groups that develop from the specific interests of individual chapter members. You can be as active as you want – attend events, join a peer group or even start a special interest group, volunteer to work with a committee or get involved with chapter leadership.

Do you live outside our chapter cities? You can still make connections and find support as you transition by becoming a National Member. National members have access to our Members Only resources and can attend events in chapter cities at the member price. And there are “telephone peer groups” which provide ongoing interaction with other lively women in transition in cities across the country. Each group is led by a facilitator who helps identify common issues, suggests discussion topics and keeps the conversation going.
